A Speech & Language pathologist at SEMC organizes and conducts patient-centered care that focuses on restoring patient function and preventing disability following disease or injury; helps patients reach maximum performance while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities. The speech-language pathologist provides diagnostic and therapeutic services in speech, language, cognition, feeding, and swallowing programs for infant through adult populations as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Current Licensed or license eligible with the Minnesota Department of Health in the area of speech pathology.
- Must have Good Time Management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Desire to work with a comprehensive healthcare team.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family members, and staff
